This very successful gentleman lived to be 90 years old. After serving his country in the U.S. Army from 1946 to 1948, he earned his degree at Indiana University in 1951. He worked in the retail industry for fifty years, rising to President and CEO of G. Fox & Co. , May Department Stores. He left Fox in 1982 to start his own executive search firm in Los Angeles, Marvin Laba & Associates. For the next 25 years, ML&A occupied a leading position among boutique executive search firms in the retail industry. He was known for his boundless energy and youthfulness. He traveled to dozens of countries across six continents, often with his wife two sons. He was known to all to be compassionate, generous, and excited about life. After his retirement, he volunteered for several years at UCLA Hospital. 

Art – Many original paintings; other works. Busts, figurines in spelter, bronze. Vases.

Clocks – A collection of over 100 clocks
